“Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You are showing us that we are here to bring Your understanding and truth into our world. This is the reason You are filling us with Your Holy Spirit. You are making all the signs, miracles, and wonders to take place so that Your purpose of bringing all things to oneness in Christ will be fulfilled. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”
Acts 2:17-18 ‘AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THE LAST DAYS, SAYS GOD, THAT I WILL POUR OUT OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL FLESH; YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS. (18) AND ON MY MENSERVANTS AND ON MY MAIDSERVANTS I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT IN THOSE DAYS; AND THEY SHALL PROPHESY.
We must see how the Lord is bringing all things together in one, in Christ.
Isaiah 32:15-19 Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest. (16) Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness remain in the fruitful field. (17) The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. (18) My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places, (19) Though hail comes down on the forest, And the city is brought low in humiliation.
Though there may be hail on the forest and the city is brought low in humiliation, the Lord will still work out pockets of His righteousness, through His people. God has kept each of us in specific circles. As we exercise the Shalom of God in our circles, we are hastening the establishment of the fullness of His reign, here on earth.
II Peter 3:11-13 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, (12) looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? (13) Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
As we live in holy conduct and godliness in our circles, we can witness the flourishing of God in our circles. These become places where the nations are drawn to Christ. This understanding of the role and responsibility of the church is spreading throughout the body of Christ, in these last days. This is the purpose and outcome of the filling of the Holy Spirit.
Ezekiel 11:19-20 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, (20) that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
We are to be His people, in oneness, walking in His statutes and judgements. This is the outworking of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Ezekiel 36:25-27 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. (26) I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (27) I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
The Lord is cleansing His church, in the last days, from all filthiness. We are to live out the righteousness of God, bringing God’s Shalom into our circles. We are thus preparing ourselves for the new age in which righteousness dwells.
Titus 3:4-7 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, (5) not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, (6) whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, (7) that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
The outpouring of His Holy Spirit is to cause us, His church, to live out the fullness of life, in the present.
Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the LORD.
There will come a time, when all of creation, will worship God. This fulfilment will take place in the new heavens and the new earth. Nevertheless, since we as this church know for certain, our destination, we live our lives here on earth, not in sadness and fear, but with hope. We live out the fullness of life because we are a part of what is certain, where all flesh will worship God.
John 17:1-3 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, (2) as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. (3) And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
We live out the fullness of life, here on earth, in our specific circles.
