Luke 11 27-28 Hearing God's word and keeping it Keeping God's word 5

*Resurrected life of Jesus* _Luke 11:27-28_

Mary begins her song by magnifying the Lord from her soul. Her spirit rejoiced in God her Saviour _Luke 1:46-47._

This is a value that all of us in the church of Jesus, must bring to effect into our lives. This is a principle that has to be our every day experience. *Our soul* magnifies the Lord, *our spirit* rejoices *in God our Saviour*.

This is the experience that we enjoy because of the resurrected Christ, who lives in us. This resurrected life of Christ enables us to rejoice in the Lord, even when those things we expected to take place, did not. Even when what we had been depending on, fails. Even when all our hard work, has not produced results or what is ours, is taken away from us _Habakkuk 3:17-19._

_Friends, can we produce this life by our own strength (flesh)? Not possible._ This is the life of the resurrected Christ, which is an enigma to the world. The resurrected life of Jesus throbbing in us, as the church, is our corporate witness to a mocking, arrogant and cynical world. Our rejoicing in Christ, in spite of our circumstances, is not a subdued one but a rejoicing that is glorious and full of celebration.

The life of the risen Christ, pulsating in us, is the proof of our faith. God longs to see us live by faith in Him and not on the basis of our circumstances. Every time our lives are driven by the pressures of our circumstances and not by our faith in God, we bring sadness to the heart of God. The risen Jesus in us enables us to grow in our faith in Him and our life becomes one of joy inexpressible and full of glory _I Peter 1:8._

Jesus is waiting and longing to work in us, exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to His resurrected power that works in us _Ephesians 3:20._ The work of the risen Christ in us, is the glory in the church to all generations, forever and ever. Amen _Ephesians 3:21._

*Thought to ponder*

```When we experience Jesus, alive in us, today, that is the proof that we will resurrect with Jesus, when He comes again in His glory.```
