*Bringing people from darkness to light* _Luke 11:36_

*Any form of sexual expression outside of the boundary of marriage, which is between one man (male) and his one wife (female), is immoral*.

Not only are we expected to be victorious over the temptations of sexual sin, we are expected to be the light of our world, having no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather exposing them _Ephesians 5:11._ Being fruitful is about being a blessing to people around us and not being a part of the darkness.

We are therefore mandated to engage with the issues of darkness in our world and bring down the strongholds of the enemy _II Corinthians 10:3-6._ We need not be afraid of the arrogance of people, who are proud to be wicked and have no remorse or shame to glorify evil and also encourage others to do the same. Let us know that all that is covered and hidden will be exposed and the wicked and arrogant man will stand uncovered before God _Matthew 10:26._ Our task is to speak the truth out loud and clear, without fear or ambiguity _Matthew 10:27._

We are called to be blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom we shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life _Philippians 2:15-16._

When we walk by His word and in the fullness and enablement of the Holy Spirit, the light of God will shine on us and from us. His glory rises on us, as His people. There is deep darkness that covers our world but the LORD will arise over us and His glory will be seen upon us. The world, especially those, who are hurting and searching for the truth will come to our light and even leaders to the brightness of our rising _Isaiah 60:1-3._

For God will bring every work that is done on earth to judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil _Ecclesiastes 12:14._

Our role is to bring people from darkness to light, not to condemn people or threaten people of the judgment of God. We long to see people repent and turn from their wicked ways, turn back to God, be reconciled to Him and live in fellowship with God and with us, His people _I John 1:3._

*Thought to ponder*

```Our role is to kings and priests of our God, here on earth.```
